PALETTE Second SAB meeting

The PALETTE project is supervised by an independent Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) whose objective is to provide feedbacks on project activities performance and technology transfer. It also allows the Steering Committee to initiate timely corrective action if that need arises.

A first SAB meeting was organised in February 2007 in Luxembourg to prepare the review with the European Commission. A second one was held on the 15th November 2007 in Grenoble.

This time again, the discussions between PALETTE partners and SAB members were very usefull in order to evaluate the project production quality and highlight the points to be focused on.

The main issues adressed during this second meeting concerned the following topics: the achievements of the project according to the second year implementation plan, the evolution of the Participatory Design Method (PDM) within the project, the integration and the usability aspects of PALETTE services, the presentation and demonstration of the PALETTE services portal, and the proposition for the future steps in anticipation of the next implementation plan.

All remarks made during the meeting will feed the strategic decisions to be integrated and exploited for the next work plan foreseen in 2008.
